Dr. Constantine J. Tatsiramos began his career as a veterinarian* in 1957. In 1975, his vision for providing knowhow in the scientific field of the poultry farming sector; which was developing at the time; denatured to business activity, and so a company was established with its main objective being the import and selling of veterinary medicines and other dietary products for productive animals and pets as well as products for sanitary use and biocides. His particular love towards birds; due to his specialty and his remarkable knowledge in bird pathology, was the trigger in creating a complete series of pharmaceutical and dietary preparations for songbirds, ornamental birds and pigeons.
In 1984, John C. Tatsiramos took charge of the management of the company and since then it operates under the discreet commercial title ΤAFARM. Thenceforth, new groundwork was set for the further improvement, modernization and development of the company.
Over the years, TAFARM managed to establish itself and achieved recognition in the Greek market, having as assets remarkable cooperations with leading international manufacturing companies, as well as a strong network of client partnerships, with livestock production units as poultry establishments in the local market, which nowadays constitutes one of the most dynamic sectors of the rural economy.
With innovation being its main objective and with absolute respect to the cooperation with the clients, TAFARM’s main priority is to cover the needs of its clients through the vast range of high quality and yet competitive products that the company imports, provides and trades exclusively.
In 2015, despite Greece being in the middle of a financial crisis, TAFARM completed a large investment project that involved a new state-of-the-art industrial plant, a fully developed logistics center, offices and more, in order to support its development in the country as well as abroad.
In TAFARM’s constant growth, the long lasting trust of her clients is reflected; a trust both from old clients who know the quality of the products and services provided, and new ones that are just starting a collaboration with the company.
